ALLOWING SPACE IN YOUR LIFE This was our sunset last night. Can you believe the colors? I'm always amazed at what beauty is available to us in nature. Over the last year, I've been actively involved in the practice of "allowing and receiving". It started as an experiment- just to see what happened when I totally let go. I let go of: My "identity" The need to control and "make" things happen (my way) The shoulds The shouldn'ts The to-do list The fear of lack And I completely surrendered to KNOWING I was supported and that no matter what, I would be OK. And you know what? I watched my client roster go down I watched my bank account drop significantly I spent more time in nature I spent more time with my animals I immersed myself in what brought me joy I spent more time meditating I started creating again I expanded personally and spiritually If I had not allowed myself the SPACE to BE, I would not have been able to expand. So much of the time we try to shove something in every space we have- in our minds, our homes, our calendar, and we forgot to allow space to BE. We think if we're not "productive" or "accomplishing" something, we're being lazy. This is NOT true! This is someone elses voice. It's time to listen to your own voice within. Listen to your body. What are they saying to you? Do you need to slow down? Do you need to sleep more? Do you need to move more? Do you need to eat better? What do YOU need for YOU? YOU ARE EXPANDING! How was that full moon? OMG! It brought up so much stuff to be released!! I’m talking OLD stuff that needed to go. So grateful! Although it didn’t feel good. I was nauseated, sore, headachy, exhausted you name it. But again, so grateful for the energy shift! Out with the old, in with the new! As I mentioned before, I’ve been having some major expansion going on the last 8 months. You’ve seen and heard less of me. I’ve been incubating in my cocoon, going within and doing a lot of internal work. Now, I’m ready to spread my new butterfly wings! Here's what I’ve realized (I wrote this yesterday but I think it is worth repeating): *We are innovators *As innovators, we will always be creating on the edge *Creating on the edge takes many risks *Taking risks makes us feel uncomfortable and it can scary and lonely *Being uncomfortable, scared and lonely keeps us stuck and small Move forward through alignment. I don’t know about you, but I fell back into the kiddy pool. I have been splashing around and playing small for far too long! It’s crazy when you think about it. Like you, I am: Successful in life An expert in my field Living a really great life Motivated, productive and smart And yet, I keep going back to splash around in the kiddy pool, playing small. NO MORE! That’s being cleared energetically (thank goodness!!) Here's what I’ve realized: *We are innovators *As innovators, we will always be creating on the edge *Creating on the edge takes many risks *Taking risks makes us feel uncomfortable and it can scary and lonely *Being uncomfortable, scared and lonely keeps us stuck and small The only way to keep moving forward during expansion (which is speeding up) it is to realign.
