Asit Ghosh
Bio
It has been a long journey through thorns and flowers.
Coming from a very humble background and initiating studies in rural schools, later I grew up at Kolkata (City of Joy and work-place of Mother Teresa). I completed my masters in marketing management from Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi University.
Starting as a front-line sales person in 1973, later I handled a few senior level executive assignments in a number of prominent multinational and Indian organizations. My last employment was under the Her Majesty's Government as a Trade & Investment Adviser.
In 1989, I found my calling in personal development training and established myself as a freelance speaker and trainer. Later, I qualified as NLP master, success leadership coach and Extended DISC behavioral analyst.
Over the last three decades, as a passionate heart-centered facilitator, I had conducted over 1500 national and international workshops and touched the hearts of over 165000 people (counting) from almost all walks of life. In the meanwhile, I was privileged to work with and trained under a host of world-renowned coaches, mentors, spiritual masters and Gurus.
I own 20 copyrighted standard training modules and have conducted a number of customized programs for a host of corporate organizations and educational institutions. Apart from conducting training and coaching sessions, creating research-based unique training modules integrating western behavioral science and oriental doctrine has been of great interest for me.
Constant spiritual development and education have drawn me into the field of wellness. I had the privilege of conducting a few existential retreats, human-labs and workshops around this subject.
I am now working on creating a few unique wellness training, coaching and e-learning modules which will be based on some exciting new themes and strategies. I expect to launch these programs on the Wellness Universe platform.
I'm fond of writing and have published 4 books so far while a few more are in the offing.
I'm deeply connected with the members of my vast alumni whom I consider my greatest asset. Personally, as a 67 years, single male, I live a simple life of a vegan, love nature, walk long, practice kriya yoga, pranayam and meditation.
Among all other achievements of my life, meeting Lady Diana during her visit to Missionaries of Charity, Kolkata in 1992 and being selected to address the World Association of NGOs (WANGO) as the only speaker from India in 2009 continue to remain as my most cherished memories.
