Manuela Rohr
Bio
Manuela’s lifelong motto is “Be (with) someone who makes you happy.” She has over thirty years of experience studying a variety of yoga traditions in Germany and the US, specifically Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy, which is a powerful mindfulness-based practice that assists students in connecting with their core essence. She’s also conquered the extraordinary challenges of being the mother of a special needs daughter.
Her mission is to share her tools with special moms like herself, caretakers and anyone interested in not lose sight of their dream while supporting a loved one or being on a path of healing. She believes as long as you can breathe you can practice yoga and is committed to showing you how to navigate the bumpy transition from suffering to freedom.
She offers workshops and private lessons in person and online and shares her healing journey with her daughter in blogs and books. She is the co-author of the books "Winning in Life and Work. Dare to Dream" and "Stories from a Yoga Heart" A private Facebook group "Embrace what's possible" supports you to embrace what's possible in your daily struggles.
Manuela was born in Germany and has lived in the US for over 30 years. Today she lives with her husband and daughter in Santa Rosa, California. If she’s not on her yoga mat, she finds inspiration in reading, writing, photography, and dancing. She loves to cook; tasting, smelling, and sensing the food is therapeutic and brings smiles to the table. The outdoors, especially hanging out with her trees, often upside down, are her sanctuary.
