A rich and fascinating conversation, connecting people in the United States, South Africa, Uganda, and Kenya – full of stories and projects around “social currency” or “conscious currency” rather than money currency.

Do we need to look hard at what we value? What do we value? Our own success at the expense of others, coming from a consciousness of lack, or an all-inclusive, “power with” success, coming from a consciousness of abundance?

Is this shift in focus women’s work as they network all over the world, supporting one another? A world in which every exchange enriches everyone? Currency, as in a river, where we are riding the currents together – valuing relationship?

So many of us are imprisoned within a conditioned, rigid money system that has been imposed on us. We didn’t create this. It was taught to us as the way to think, but it’s not the only way to think. Bubbling beneath the surface is a network of people all over the world supporting one another. How do we make that network visible to all? Can we co-create a space online where people can go and be in that “social currency” field – engaged with one another and exchanging with the whole?
