Misinterpretations of our current experiences happen easily because our mind is using conclusions from past experiences. The level of understanding at the time of the initial experience is not considered by the mind; the mind simply looks for a reference in the stored data and assumes it is still valid. When the file is retrieved and reinforced, it is then symbolically colored by the reinforced conclusion and feelings. These reinforced conclusions become your true beliefs – your perspectives – and this entire process is how you author your life.
