Below are some suggested titles and topics that are sure to do well! If anything speaks to you, comment and you will be assigned that title.

Full Guidelines & to Submit an Article for The Wellness Universe Featured Blog: Go to ‘Submit an Article’

You will have a form to fill out allowing you to submit all necessary details of your article.

SUBMISSION SPECS: You will be requested to upload a well-written, edited article that is between 300 – 800 words in a Word Document or PDF file format within the submission form.

Your article should be educational, inspirational, motivational, informative or story-telling in some way. The reader should walk away with a feeling they gained something valuable, NOT feeling like they were ‘sold to.’ We will not publish articles that are a ‘sales pitch’ for your product or service. Provide written value and they will seek out your services.

In the body of your article, you can include one outbound  link. If you have multiple links or sources, only 1 will be hyperlinked so please be sure to specify in the “Comments” field in submission form which link to hyperlink.

IMAGES: Our blog theme has strict image requirements and if you choose to submit a Featured Image with your article, they MUST be rectangular with a 3:2 ratio and not contain text. You’re welcome to submit an image, but typically we provide our own Main Featured Image for several reasons. If you submit an image and we do not use it, we will do our best to find another image that is aligned with the one you submitted. Images for the BODY of your article are awesome! We welcome images depicting visuals of what you are writing about.

Videos to accompany an article are a great and you can add your video in the form when you submit. Please be sure it is uploaded to YouTube.

Do you need a little inspiration for a blog topic? Please see the list below.

If you are submitting for a blog series, ALL articles in your series must be submitted in order for your series to be scheduled. A series would be defined as a minimum of 3, maximum of 7 articles surrounding one topic or theme. Writing a series is a great way to position yourself as an expert in the area of wellness that you represent. Please fill out 1 blog form for each article in your series and specify which part in the series it represents. (Part 1, Part 2, etc.)

If your article is published on The Wellness Universe, you cannot publish it anywhere for at least 30 days  (including your own website/blog). Likewise, if you have published your article on your own website or elsewhere within the last 30 days, please wait to submit it. This is important because your content will be penalized by search engines and receive a much lower ranking.

*HELPING YOU SHINE! We share your article to over 1 Million Followers on social media the day you are published. We tag your handles when shared as an extra opportunity to increase your following. The day your article posts, you are kindly requested to support your own content by sharing it and replying to your comments (Please check often the day of and the days following as you will not receive automated notifications). Your support for your article is essential. You are encouraged to visit the Featured Blog and support your fellow authors with sharing their blog and commenting. It’s a great way to build relationships. Those who GIVE SUPPORT, GET SUPPORT.

First Time Submitting? Let’s Get You Set Up as an Author!

Hi Samantha – Those are yours! Thank you – #37 Can be written and we will post in October as the holidays get closer, so that can be left for last on your priority list to submit. 🙂
      Anna

  9. Diane Boyko Achatz

I have an idea for a different title: “My Journey Away from Retirement”

The blog would be why I chose a new career as a Health Coach when most people my age are retired, and the journey toward my dream. Thank you for the opportunity to submit my first blog for The Wellness Universe. Diane 🙂

          1. Diane Boyko Achatz

Color my face bright red with embarrassment because I couldn’t find the response to my question until this evening. I still very much want to submit a blog, but given the fact that so much time has passed I understand if I’ve missed my opportunity. Please accept my apologies for my tardiness.
            Diane

  10. Barbara Schwarck

    Hi There,

I would like to take #50,63, 81, 89 and 117. I have submitted one article but never heard back from you. Please let me know what else I need to do. Thank you. Barbara

  11. The Wellness Universe Post author

Hi Barbara, did you submit your article via the Submit an Article form? You should have received an auto reply once you submitted. If you did, and did not hear back from us and it has been more than 72 business hours, please inquire with Ashley at blogs@thewellnessuniverse.com As far as the blogs you would like to reserve – we are delighted to see you are interested in writing so many! We love to see people excited about our topics 🙂 However, we limit to 3 titles. Which 3 would you like? If the others are available still toward the end of the month, we can issue those to you too 🙂

    Thank you!
    Anna

  12. Cindy Bartz

I would love to do a 3 part series on #31 – Breath Exercises for Relaxation. I did a 3part blog on my website about a year ago. I also have videos.

      1. Nicole Levac

Woohoo, I just saw this. For some reason, I never saw the notice in reply. Will get going on this asap. I’m so excited. <3

  13. Rosi Goldsmith

I’ll take, #39, with a slight tweak: “The Woo is in You: Your Mind is More Powerful Than You Think!”

and, s#74, “Sprained ankles: training to prevent re-injury”. Different body parts have different training strategies after injury. Neck, back, shoulder, elbow, wrist are other ones I can think of. Too much for a single post!

I also have started a three part series inspired by a June prompt: “9 Non-Toxic Strategies for Garden “Pests””. (2 parts are written, 3rd is in draft.) Would that still be OK? Would I correspond with Ashley about that?

    1. The Wellness Universe Post author

Hello @rosigoldsmith yes! And those are great. I encourage you to write a blog per month as a ‘Prevent re-injury’ series or can be a 5-part series with the 5 most common (Back, Shoulder, knee? No idea not my area 🙂 just suggesting) I will assign #39 & #74 to you.
      Thank you
      Anna

      1. Rosi Goldsmith

        Hi, Anna,
The idea of a 5 part blog-per-month series is a great suggestion. I have been imagining writing it from various angles. Like, there are already a hundred books on healing from back pain. And it affects 30-40% of us during our lifetimes. So that one might better be: “5 Successful Strategies for Overcoming Back Pain.”

Perhaps some of us in the physical category here could even work together? Others here at WU are PT’s, OT’s, or have other relevant specialties. Would it be appropriate to start a new thread (under Blogger’s Paradise, or?) asking for collaboration on a 5 month series? Perhaps ask @ashleybrewer?

You sparked a lot of ideas! But the whole series will take more planning. So, could my name be withdrawn from this topic for now? 🙂
        Thank you,
        Rosi

  14. Heather Blanchard

Id like to do a three-part series on #29 please. Just completed my profile and am submitting a sample blog article now.

  15. Caroline Zimba

I did my first Vipassana in April, I would love to submit an article about my experience.

  16. Anna Laurita

I would like to write : “7 Yogic Tools for More Peace” and also contribute a monthly article called “Pranayama of the Month” or if you think “pranayama” may be too technical, how about “Breath of the Month for Optimal Health” or just “Breathing Exercise of the Month”

      1. Cindy Bartz

OK — I submitted #31 – Breathing For Relaxation (3-part series with video) this morning 🙂 Have a great evening!

  17. Savvy Raj

Hi, this time around I would love to contribute an article on the Value of Empathy … as way of life and living. Do let me know ?
    Thank you.
    Savvy Raj

  18. Keith Engelhardt

I could do the following blog articles (over a period off time, not all at once):

#50 – 20 Ways to Focus on The Positive & Attract More Joy
#60 Alternative Natural Remedies to Medication for _____________________(fill in the blank: mirages, pain, high blood pressure, etc.)
#81 10 Mindful Tips You Need Now
#109 Is Reversing The Aging Process Possible?
#24 10 Creative Ways to Make a Business from Your Natural Talents

      1. Jake Wernitznig

Hi Anna! I filled out my bio in “About Me”, but it doesn’t appear to be visible in my profile yet. Does it take a little while to be seen by the public?

  19. Theresa Walstra

We’ve just slipped into September! May I still choose a topic?
If so, I would love to do a blog on #108 “You are Amazing. How to Accept Love”
