If it's true that our life is a reflection of our inner truth, and if pain is the motivating factor behind the search for truth, then the only real truth we need to discover lies within.
Intellect. That’s what makes human beings different from all other living creatures. Of course, all living things have some form of intelligence otherwise they would cease to exist, but the ability and the desire to ponder life’s mysteries is unique to human beings. We have learned to celebrate and cherish our intellect so much so that we bestow great awards to those who study, and experiment, and achieve. Yet, there are those who still struggle to learn the truth.
We are meant to learn from one another – that is a truth, but the things we learn from others aren’t necessarily our truth.

It's difficult for most people who have suffered at the hands of another to be willing to develop a relationship with God. #FaithTakesPractice
Most people who have been sexually abused, emotionally battered, bullied, criticized, threatened etc. claim to be an Atheist. The idea that a loving God would allow such horrible things to happen is unthinkable, so getting your mind's process to accept the possibility that God had nothing to do with the horrible things that happened to you takes some doing.
Faith and belief in a power greater than you is part of the healing process. Be patient with yourself. There is no need to try to force it. God isn't going anywhere! you-are-divinely-guided-protected-at-all-times
You are capable of making your own decisions.
You are capable of choosing to do the things that make sense to you.

Make sure that the energy attached to your goals is coming from your LOVE cabinet and not your FEAR cabinet! The Universe responds to our true energy which originates in the mind file that is being used as a reference.

Taking care of yourself doesn't need to involve complicated or expensive rituals. Start by giving yourself 10 minutes of me time to read, relax, or just be alone.
Nurturing includes how you talk to yourself, how you feed yourself, and how you take care of your body - like exercise.

Resentments begin forming in our childhood.
As children, our feelings are easily hurt because our ability to process and interpret is limited.
Children do not always understand the difference between being discouraged and being condemned, so their reactions to disappointment can sometimes be stronger than they need to be.
It's important to review and re-assess the files in the filing cabinets of your mind at your current level of understanding. The mind's process is powerful. The constant chatter will keep you in a fearful state, which in turn will keep your body in fight or flight.
Take command of your thoughts. Silence your mind, breathe deeply and re-connect with God - however you choose to define Him/Her/It. Listen for guidance and learn to trust it as you did when you were young. Accept-God-FB
Your whole being - you and your mind's process - knows when you've heard a truth. You feel it - deep within your core.
You might not like this truth, and you might even try to rebel against it, but you know it is the truth.

When the mind's process is in control, we easily accept the reference point and further reinforce it by agreeing with it. This keeps our thought process in an either / or , yes / no, and black / white pattern, but life isn't that cut and dried. We must regain control of our thoughts and retrain ourselves to think things through. We must retrain ourselves to ask questions - is what we are seeing the whole picture, or is there things we aren't aware of?
We are drawn to agree with the majority because we are afraid that we will be ostracised - left out - abandoned - if we don't.
Locate the file that deals with abandonment in your FEAR cabinet and reassess it now - at your current level of understanding. Do you have and are you associating with people who would abandon you over an opinion? If so - you might want to re-think your associations.
Search your feelings. What does your gut tell you?

Misinterpretations of our current experiences happen easily because our mind is using conclusions from past experiences. The level of understanding at the time of the initial experience is not considered by the mind; the mind simply looks for a reference in the stored data and assumes it is still valid. When the file is retrieved and reinforced, it is then symbolically colored by the reinforced conclusion and feelings. These reinforced conclusions become your true beliefs - your perspectives - and this entire process is how you author your life.

Let me tell you a little bit about Mind Files and how it can help you identify and remove intellectual and emotional blocks in your life.
A mind file is a conclusion your mind's process stored in your memory banks - what I've named The Filing Cabinets of Your Mind.
You begin collecting mind files as soon as your mind becomes aware. These mind files are used by your mind's process as a reference to help you understand what you are currently experiencing. This is how your PAST interferes with your PRESENT.
We must, every so often, go into the filing cabinets of our mind and review our mind files at our current level of understanding, and choose whether to keep that mind file as a reference or remove it altogether.
Our perceptions become perspectives, and when our perspectives are referenced and reinforced through our mind's process, they can become rigid and create problems in our lives.
